Article 1 - Purpose
These Terms of Use (ToU) aim to define the terms of access and use of the Chariot application provided by CHARIOT, accessible via the website https://chariot.tools.
Chariot is an online service dedicated to supporting Game Masters (GMs) in managing Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) campaigns.
Article 2 - Acceptance of the ToU
The user acknowledges having read these ToU and accepts them without reservation before using the service.
Article 3 - Description of the service
The service offers a freemium version to create, organize, and manage campaigns, as well as paid options with advanced features.
Article 4 - Registration and access
- Access to features requires the creation of a user account.
- The user agrees to provide accurate information.
- The user is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Article 5 - Authorized and prohibited use
The user agrees not to:
- use the service for illegal purposes or in violation of the ToU,
- infringe on the rights of third parties,
- disrupt the functioning of the service,
- attempt to access restricted areas of the service.
Article 6 - Intellectual property
Chariot and its content (design, code, logos, etc.) are the exclusive property of CHARIOT.
Content generated by the user remains their property, but the user grants CHARIOT a limited license to use it in order to operate the service.
Article 7 - Personal data
- The handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.
- The user has rights to access, modify, and delete their data.
Article 8 - Liability
- CHARIOT strives to provide a reliable service but cannot guarantee 100% availability.
- The user uses the service at their own risk.
- CHARIOT’s liability is limited to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Article 9 - Modification of the service and ToU
- CHARIOT may modify the ToU and the service at any time.
- Users will be informed by email or notification.
- Continued use constitutes acceptance of the changes.
Article 10 - Duration and termination
- The user can delete their account at any time.
- CHARIOT may suspend or delete an account in case of violation of the ToU.
Article 11 - Applicable law and disputes
These ToU are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts are those of CHARIOT’s registered office.
